Awhile back when I had the cracked tapered propeller flange, I too
had
to replace the spinner backing plate because of cracks. It was recommended
<strongly> that the prop hub bolts be replaced as well due to the ridges
carved by the backing plate. The prop bolts were very inexpensive. Just
thought I'd toss that into the stew.
