Jack,
At Sacramento Exc. a few years back we was in a rental plane from Air
Trails
here in Salinas.

It no more came to a stop and the inspector was there... He explained that
they
had a tip that some one out of Salinas, was flying a rental plane into to
there
each day and didn't have a medical...or license to be flying.

He asked to see the medical and License which my husband showed him but
didn't
hand it too him as he has always been told that is considered voluntary
surrender... he then checked the planes certificates and the only thing he
found
wrong was a corner of the air worthy one was torn and it didn't display
all the
information..

He sited, it gave it to him, grounded the plane, but did allow it to be
flown
back to Salinas. it was grounded after it touched back down here at our
home
airport.

He was polite, and really didn't give us a bad time at all.
