Nils, I have the Alon version of the 'coupe (the Alon A2 Aircoupe) which is the plane for which the bubble was made, and my plane has it.
While I like the bubble on my plane, I would agree with Percy about the bubble on the 415; I don't really think it's any better, and to me it looks out of place on the 415 because it wasn't made for that plane -- it just doesn't match the rest of the canopy, in my opinion. You may hear some folks claim that the bubble is more aerodynamic and gets you more airspeed. I have not seen anything to support that claim. The A2 has a little better climb because of the engine and propeller, and I'm hard-pressed to believe that the bubble does much to help. Good luck! Whatever 'coupe you're flying, they're great planes. Leslie 3B9 _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Visit http://www.msn.com
