Georgia, it is OK to ramble on as long as it is about flying and our
little
darlings. Come to the Picnic in Sept here in Batesville and we will take
you up every day. And also you will be able to recognize the Ercoupe
flying
it is special. Just come on down on Sept 16-19th. We are getting excited
about out fly-in.

>Howdy Folks,
>
>I am quite stoked because I think I saw the pretty red Ercoupe flying
>today. What's the big deal you say? Well, I'll reintroduce myself. I
>had never heard the word Ercoupe let alone know what it was until the end
>of the second week of July. My partner asked if I could search the web
>for inforamtion on it. I found the coupers list as well as some
wonderful
>web sites with lots of great pictures. Shortly thereafter, I saw a plane
>at one our local airports that I'm sure is an Ercoupe. I took a closer
>look and shot an entire roll of film of it. I also left a note for the
>owner. I hope he will contact me, but so far I haven't heard anything.
>
>Today, while I was taking one of my walks, I was thinking that it would
be
>a great day to fly:
>-if I knew how to fly
>-if I had a plane of my own or the money to rent one
>
>Later today, when My partner and I were driving over to school so I could
>work in the computer lab, I noticed something out of thecorner of my eye.
>I can't be sure since I've never seen an Ercoupe in the air and it was
>kinda far away, but I think it was that pretty red plane. So for awhile
>we were chasing it in our truck. Funny, chasing a plane with our truck
>that barely runs.
>
>I think the Ercoupe was going up the coast towards the Oregon border.
>That's the way I would go today, if I could. The coastline here is so
>beautiful and since about noon, it has been very clear. I wish I were up
>there with him.
>
>I can hardly wait until I get the chance.
>
>Thanks for letting me ramble!
