Jolly and all:

I wasn't making a statement about legal or not,
sorry I should have went farther.

What I wanted to point out was that six inch Clevelands
are six inch Clevelands. It doesn't matter if they
are from a Coupe, a Cherokee or the factory. They
are sold by size. So don't limit the search to just
the factory or wrecked Ercoupes. Any correct size
Clevelands will work. There is not a special
set just for Coupes.

What you pointed out is very true. Regardless of where you
get the conversions, the job isn't finished till the paper
work is done. It requires proper paper work, even if
they come from the Cleveland factory, (change in type
certified equipment and all that).

So, if you find a good buy on Clevelands and get them
installed properly you still got to go to the FAACP.
But I don't see, if all the I's are dotted and T's
crossed, that it would be a problem. The Clevelands
are a much better brake than the Goodyears. But, we
are talking government here.

Jack
