Does anyone know of an Ercoupe owner in North Alabama or the area that would be willing to let me examine their airplane to see if an Ercoupe meets my needs? I need an airplane that can be tied down outdoors and I've always loved the Ercoupes. More importantly, my wife also loves Ercoupes. Any advice on purchasing? Storing outdoors? I'm selling my biplane project becuase you just can't keep a wood and fabric airplane outside.
