I may be shipping my coupe from Hawaii to LAKE ELSINORE soon and would appreciate any info on A&E's in the area familiar with coupes. A few coupers have already made suggestions, however have not located the specifics as yet. I hopefully will keep the place at sky port in lake elsinore, I know there is a Bear creek field and French (don't recall the proper name) something , they're only 13 miles from me. Of course Skyport is a great location for me because its less than a mile from my our new house in the foothills of cleveland forest and can clearly see the planes take off with our higher altitude.Soecifically, I was looking for info on the proper way to dismantle (I know about the wings of course) and re-assemble. I will need someone to do the work for me to be sure that everything is done right. Many years ago there were several Ercoupes in the islands, but over the years mine was the last of the breed. While Hawaii is a paradise and has great flying weather, the major consideration is all that ocean out there around us. The other drawback frankly is A&E's (young ones) who have never even seen or worked on an coupe By the way, my serial no is 4356 a 415 D a beauty, all re-done which I want to convert to a split elevator (G ?)
