to be there too. The AAA is also having a flyin in Gainesville, Texas on June 11 and 12. It is suppose to be a good flyin. The contact number there is 940-636-9066. I hope to go there too. There is also a biplane convention in Bartlesville, Ok on June 4&5. The contact No. is 918-665-0755. On July 2-4 the Ercoupe National Convention will be held in Jacksonville, Il. Plan to make that one! On Sept 16-19 the Arkansas Picnic will be held in Batesville, Ark. It is sponswered by the Ercoupe chapter, but lots of different planes show up. This should also be a "must attend" on your list. Fly to Springfield, Mo, and meet up with some other coupers going to Batesville. There are also a ton of airshows within coupe range, but the flyins are more fun to fly to. If you hear of any flyins in the KC area, please post it on the mailing list. My experience last year was hearing about the great flyin "last weekend". The few I did make it to were enjoyable. Its nice to revisit with pilots you met at the last flyin, or last year.
