Jim, Glad you posted thaat one.... I was concerned with so many C-78/85 operators doing run up at 1700/1800 rpms, etc...Instead of full throttle.
What is your experience with the "extra rich " situation if you do a run up on a 0-200 at full throttle ? I expect that the extra rich mixture at full throttle will affect both mag drop and carb heat drop.... At 1700, the economizer circuit is inoperative, making a proper fuel/air ratio, and both mag drop and carb heat , should be noticeable, but smooth - I would think...
