I don't know if this is appropriate or not on this forum, but one of our
couper friends has taken his final flight.
LEE ROY OLIVER, of Amarillo Texas, passed on the first part of December
1998
of an extended illness. Most of his coupe friends across the country will
know him as the quiet man that flew the white Ercoupe N3518H. I'm not
absolutely sure, but I think he was one of this regions officers with
"COUPE
CAPERS."
I flew many, many miles abreast of Lee and his little white coupe, and he
was
as great of friend as a man could have. All of his friends at Tradewind
airport in Amarillo will miss him greatly. Fly with God, my
friend.

Thanks,
Jim Miller
