P.S.  I was a passenger in a friend's Piper Cold (2-place Tripacer) on a
45 Kt direct crosswind landing.  It was well above forcast and we were
young and dumber.  He kept it on the pavement even though we stopped
just before getting to the landing light.  And the wind didn't even tip
over the plane on the ground!

Talk about pucker factor.  I'll take a coupe with its tail up every
time.
