If you are really serious about an IFR Trainer in addition to all the required instruments. Let us not forget the increased Weight to be lifted off the ground ! You will need increased horsepower also, say an 0-200 installation if you don't have it already. And do a little home work on doing weight and balances Instructor Wght. your Wght. Fuel etc. and ALL your radios Suggest that you use a standard IFR trainer than going through the mods. Less expensive that way.
