A year or so back the new owner that bought N5691F  called here and was
really
laughing, seems he was flying it in the mountains around Glendale, Ca. and
decided to slow her down under the 100 mph per hr. and slide the canopy
back..

Thru his laughter he said it came off and sailed with the greatest of easy
in
the air toward the ground..

This was on a real pretty bird belong to Steve Colwell, I asked him if he
called
Steve and let him know what he did to that plane.. and he had not.

He wanted to know  where to buy another full top to the alon. I can just
see
that canopy flying away from the plane and some explorer years from now
finding
it and trying to figure where it came from.
