I have an older copy of a manual called ADs and Skyport Aircoupe Service Notes. On page 14 is a picture of a crack in the wing walk box outer rib. Mine looked OK until I glass bead blasted the area. Both sides had a crack. I read where they found cracks in 38 of 40 aircraft inspected. Skyport has a rivet in repair kit. If left unrepaired, I feel these cracks will grow with repeated landings. My right aileron push rod tube to the mast assy. under the seat was bent like a bow. To adjust the aileron, someone screwed the heim joint out until it had very few thread holding. (scary.) I am replacing all 11 heimjoints. They aren't cheap at $20.50 ea. but they sure make the controll system tight.
