Umm...I wasn't quite ready to post this to the world yet, as I'm still waiting for my domain name to come through (hopefully tommorow).
If you look closely, you don't need me to post. ANYONE can post a 337 to my web page. There is also a for sale/wanted page, and RSN, a coupers archive (I'm waiting for modified program from the list guys). People, you can start posting stuff, but please don't bookmark it yet, until my domain name comes through. I would appreciate comments sent to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] -Tom -----Original Message----- From: The Craigmyles [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, January 21, 1999 6:22 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: Coupers List Subject: Re: web page stuff YES! Very nicely done, Tom. It's much what I had hoped for, but don't have the know-how to implement. Now, I have started to compile some diffyreps from the Coupers list, but I think I'll discontinue that work, and focus on finishing the ADs, SBs, and STCs for the powerplant stuff (TCM, McCauley, Sensenich, Marvel-Schleber, etc>). If you are making a database from Coupers, all folks have to do is keep the information coming just like they always have- So an announcement to Coupers List: Rob won't be doing diffyreps on the Coupe Maint&Mods site, cause Tom is working on a better way through coupers.com. I will continue to gather AD, SB, STC and 337 info wherever I can. The way i see this possibly evolving, is that individuals volunteer to gather specific types of information, and funnel it all to Tom, hopefully in a form he can easily organize and post on his site. Tom, if there is some kind of boilerplate process we can apply to items of information we submit to you, maybe it won't be too much work for you to post it. I wonder if it would work to eventually have selected diffyreps bookmarked in the background so that keywords like "carb box" would pull up the best items first. The archives could be gleaned and bookmarked wherever particularly salient information is found. This might cut down on the ocurrance of search phrases like "carb box" returning a deluge of old conversations. Anyway, if you want to delegate this work into small bits for guys like me, Tom, I think we are really starting something good! How much server space do you have??? Should we take up a small collection? -----Original Message----- From: Tom Laird-McConnell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: The Craigmyles <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thursday, January 21, 1999 7:15 PM Subject: web page stuff >Can you take a look at my web page and let me know what you think? > >http://www.iciclecreek.com/ercoupers > >NOTE: www.ercoupers.com hasn't come through yet, but it will. > >-Tom >
