At the last annual on my 415D I had 8 new inlet hoses installed.
The
clamps used are the screw type and as the hoses compressed the rubber the
clamps are now loose. The problem is that I can't get at most of the 16
hose clamps to tighten them without some major disassembly.
Is there any way to legally change over to the spring type clamps,
which
are installed using special piers? They would continue to tighten more as
the rubber compresses, and would be self adjusting.
Has anyway had these clamps approved without it costing an arm and
a leg
