N99997 had a large venturi mounted on the bottom
of the Fuselage below the baggage compartment. It was very badly beat up
by rocks and debris blown about by the wheels and prop and was full of oily
dirt. I am thinking of relocating it somewhere else and on the dozen or so
Coupes that I have looked at I noticed that the fuselage side seems to be a
favorite location. Any comments on where the best location is? I
have a AH, directional gyro and vert. speed indicator to drive. Would a
smaller venturi be better?
