Sam, Renaming the folder with Outlook 2007 appears to work initially and then it reverts to the lower-case naming.
With Thunderbird 1.5.08, I get an error: "The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Invalid mailbox" I will try recompiling after tweaking the source.
