Hi, Please forgive my lack of knowledge! ;-)

I have a debian lenny installation with exim4 and courier pop3 server. This is working fine with userdb as authentication. I got my emails in MailDir format. Now I want to start using IMAP which i should use for a webmail-solution.

I have the following in /etc/courier/userdb :
<URL:mailto:[email protected]>[email protected] imappw=xxxxxxxx|pop3pw=mHyOHbWAWenJM|uid=UUU|mail=/var/mail/virtual/lfweb.d k/lars|poppw=xxxxxxxx|home=/var/mail/virtual/lfweb.dk/lars|gid=GGG

I have tried to login via telnet and the following is written in mail.log :

Jun 12 12:42:09 mail imapd: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: Permission denied Jun 12 12:42:09 mail imapd: LOGIN FAILED, [email protected], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Jun 12 12:42:09 mail imapd: authentication error: Permission denied

How can I see which permissions are wrong?

The IMAP server cannot connect to the authdaemon socket.
