No this is not Courier-IMAP. And I don't know what "XESSAGES" is, as well. That's not a valid keyword.
But in any case, mailbox names in Courier are located under the inbox root. "Sent Items" would not be a valid mailbox name in any case, it would have to be "inbox.sent items".
