Hi,

I have been messing with this for weeks now, and I cannot figure this out.

My Imap server will not access a folder name "Drafts" (that is .Drafts
on the filesystem). No matter what I do, and no matter what email
client I'm using, I cannot put any email into this folder. This
happens across the board for all users with accounts on the email
server.

I have tried making this directory using maildirmake, by hand on the
filesystem, and in several different email clients. Imapd hates them
all.

One interesting point: If I rename the folder to something else, I am
suddenly able to put email into it. When I rename it back to Drafts,
suddenly, I am unable to put any email into it, although the files
emails I put in there while under the other name ARE readable.

I have checked on the filesystem, there are no permission issues.
There are ACLs or anything else. Each user has full read-write access
to this directory and everything below it (and their base MailDir as
well).

I am likewise not finding any useful output in my logs (syslog,
mail.log, mail.err, auth.log etc).

This, of course, is a HUGE problem, because Drafts reserved and used
by most email clients for automatically (and manually) keeping copies
of mail templates or works in progress.

I am using:
courier-imap 4.8.0-3
courier-imap-ssl 4.8.0-3
php5-imap 5.3.3-7+squeeze3

on a debian squeeze system.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks!
