Describe your problem, we'll see if we can help. Courier imap does
not directly call spamassassin, and spamassassin does not directly
communicate with courier imap, so I am not sure what "work together"
means without more description.

os: freebsd 8.2
mta: sendmail 8.14.4
sendmail plugin for spamassassin: spamass-milter-0.3.2
mda: maildrop-2.5.2
spamassassin: p5-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.3.2
users store in ldap database: openldap 2.4.23
pop/imap: courier-imap-4.10.0
Ok! In this case I run spamassassin like daemon with flags:
-l -c -i 127.0.0.1 -m 3 --max-conn-per-child=5 --round-robin -u vmail
--virtual-config-dir="/corpmail/%d/%l/spamassassin/" -x --ldap-config
-d -r ${pidfile}
,but in maillog environment %d %l don't apear and I have log like:
using default config for root: /corpmail///.spamassassin//user_prefs
My question is: who from this soft I need to configure to get
information from ldap database about virtual user: spamass-milter or
spamassassin?
