Hi. I am using courier imap with gamin (since with FAM you get an error on the mail-client). Debian Wheezy.
After converting a few big mailboxes from the old server, some users could not log in any more. In the debug log, you see courier authenticating the user successfully, but the user gets "no connection to server" (sth similar) on the mail-client-side. After many hours of testing, I found out, that if you kill the gam-server process for that particular user, the imap-server starts working again as expected. I am not sure, when or why this happens, but gamin seems to be involved. I hope that gets fixed soon.
