Hey all, been using courier-imap for years, with fam. While this has been working fine for years, as user loads have increased on the imap server with the advent of all these smartphones, and tablets I have run into issues.
The FAM daemon works, but at times runs off to 100% CPU. the gam_server works good, low CPU but once there is enough open imap sessions (50?) It causes the imap server to be unresponsive altogether until some users log out (CPU is virtually idle at this time) Anyone have any suggestions on getting gamin working with more users? or FAM from running off with all the CPU?
