Got it working! The problem was, like you said, in the
configuration files. I was going over them and
searching though previous posts - the problem was
actually white space after some variable settings :)

Are there any suggestions on a good imap client for
the web? I am looking at horde, squirrelmail and
webmail (are there anymore?) - which one would you all
recommend?
