It is not necessary, as the uucp and fax modules will not be used if
they are not configured. However, if you really do not want them built
and installed, supply the following option to "configure" to enable only
local, esmtp and dsn modules:
--with-transport='local esmtp dsn'
It's an undocumented feature.
