I've just compiled Courier 0.39.1 with the following line:
./configure --prefix=/www/courier --with-mailuser=courier --with-mailgroup=c
ourier --with-cacheowner=mailuser --without-authmysql --without-authpgsql --
without-ipv6 --without-ldap
I created user: courier with uid= 100 and group courier with gid= 62 I
also created user mailuser with uid=501 and group mailuser with gid=63.
Mailboxes will be in /var/mail/mailuser directory (mail subdirectory is
a symlink). I've created user [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I can check mails via
POP3 login as user [EMAIL PROTECTED] and the password I set during user
creation. The problem is I can't send email. When I send an email From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] esmtpd responds with a "550 User
unknown" code. What can be the problem? An extra slash during compilation?
(ie --prefix=/www/courier/ instead of --prefix=/www/courier in any
parameter). I still have to do some configuration? I have created the file
/courier/etc/locals with one line containing netgi.com.ar and a new line at
the end.
Can anyone help me please?
