Hi all. I've having difficulty getting courier-imap to accept imap logins. I'm running qMail-1.03-p20/vmailmgr-.96.9/courier-imap-1.5.3, all installed from RPM's. qmail delivers SMTP fine, I can send mail out to another acct.
I have set up a user and alias with vmailmgr for the user I'm testing. Courier is configured to use authvmailmgr (imapd:AUTHMODULES="authvmailmgr"). When I run courier-imapd-authtest with the base user/pass pair it is successful, but fails if using the vmail alias. If I run "courier-imapd-authtest -m \ authvmailmgr $user $pass", it fails with any credentials, i.e. good or false. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct syntax for -m, as there is no man page to be found. My sincerest thanks if anyone can point me in the right direction here, this is my first use of courier-imap and I can't find any troubleshooting related to this on google.
