Well, it means that when the guys presses the "get mail" button in Netscape v4.79 the mails gets fetched to its computer up until it reaches the invalid email where it simply aborts the whole retrieval-transaction complaining:
An error as occured with pop3 server.
If you'd like to ask whether it's possible to ignore a certain error condition, you have to identify precisely what the specific error condition is, after all. Nothing here goes anywhere towards advancing to that goal.
