The Apache server under OpenBSD 3.2 runs (by default) as a

In order to use sqwebmail-3.4.0.20021026  as described in
the Courier-MTA docs, you must run Apache -u'n-chrooted'

Use the /usr/sbin/httpd -u  command line option.

Thanks for the reply.

Like your suggestion, I have been running Apache with -u option. If I run it with default setting, I cannot even start any cgi in cgi-bin directory through an web browser. I also tried to run Apache with -u 'n-chrooted' option, but same result.

In addition, sometimes I see this following error message in /var/log/messages, too.

sqwebmail: maildircache: Cache create failure - cannot change to bin

I hope this is something useful to solve my mystery.
