Any ideas what's wrong?

RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.38474 (%prep)
$ grep courier /etc/group
courier:x:11:
$ grep courier /etc/passwd
courier:x:51:11::/home/courier:/bin/bash
It found the UID but not the GID, while both of them are correct.
0.40.2.20030108 on RH 7.3 .
