Hello. Newbie here trying to install Courier1.7.0 on Suse with Qmail. I did the first step of the install instructions ./configure obtained the following questionable results:
configure: error: Cannot find either the gdbm or the db library.
I guess I need the GDBM/DB library. Can somebody explain what this library is and where to get it?

The other question is: I see two Makefiles.in[.am] what is the difference between the two? Do I need to rename one of them to "Makefile" before running make? How do I decide which makefile to use?
