When I try to send a mail with squirrelmail and courier i get the following error: ERROR: A password transition is needed Server replied: 432 Service temporarily unavailable.
An errorlog is created: (/var/log/mail/mail.err) Jun 20 22:17:37 thomas submit: /etc/courier/rfcerrheader.txt: Jun 20 22:17:37 thomas submit: Bad file descriptor Jun 20 22:17:37 thomas courieresmtpd: submitclient: EOF from submit.
This error only applies when i try sending mail over a certain size. sending a mail containing "test" doesnt trigger this error. Logical thinking made me wonder if there where any MaxMessageSize applying to sending mails in courier, but I can't find any documentation on this on the web.
What is wrong ?
Did you check that /etc/courier/rfcerrheader.txt exists?
