Hi I am using 0.42.2 on RH9. I set up one server that work perfectly well (built the RPMs). I set up another server and I cannot get the outlook client to send mail (time out error, server has not responded within 60 seconds) using authentication. If the client is on the local network (set in smtpaccess) it works fine but not otherwise. Receiving mail works properly with IMAP over SSL (port 993)
Client is configured for "server requires authentication" on send (no SSL) Sending mail from webmail works properly. the esmtpd.pem file has the correct permissions. DNS is working Logfile does not show anything special, example from two connections, nothing further referenced. courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:172.3.a.b] courieresmtpd: started,ip=[::ffff:216.148.a.b] Checked the following in esmtpd AUTHMODULES="authdaemon" ESMTPAUTH="LOGIN" ESMTPAUTH_TLS="PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5" ESMTPDSTART="YES" What next to check?
