Here is my configure line.
./configure --prefix=/usr \ --sysconfdir=/etc/courier \ --with-piddir=/var/run \ --libexecdir=/usr/libexec \ --datadir=/usr/share/courier \ --localstatedir=/var/lib/courier \ --disable-root-check \ --with-db=db \ --with-mailuser=courier \ --with-mailgroup=courier \ --enable-workarounds-for-imap-client-bugs \ --enable-mimetypes=/etc/apache2/mime.types \ --with-ispell=/usr/bin/aspell \ --enable-maildropmysql || ERROR Configure
Do not use --enable-maildropmysql. This is a separate issue, not related to the main one.
