Does not find any Mailboxes...

If you want to use Courier IMAP at some point in the future, you're best off not using maildrop directly from fetchmail. First, get Courier's MTA working, so that it can deliver mail to local users and then use a fetchmailrc like this:

set daemon 900 # Poll at 15-minute intervals

defaults fetchall, forcecr, no keep, ssl, mda "/usr/sbin/sendmail %T";

poll mail.example.com with protocol pop3: user user1 there with password passwd1 is user1 here; user user2 there with password passwd2 is user2 here;

courier tries to send Mails directly to the A/MX Records of a Domain, which bounce all Messages because I am on a Dialup. I have changed the
file /etc/courier/esmtproutes and have added following:

:smtp.wanadoo.fr

because in the manpages it was writen, if the <domain> is empty, all messages will be sent via the <relay>. It does not work, it sends only to A and MX records.

Does your maillog indicate that? My esmtproutes file contains:

dragonsdawn.net: ns.dragonsdawn.net
:smtp.comcast.net

When I send a message to myself, the maillog records:

Sep 28 11:44:11 ascension courieresmtp:
        id=0003BC77.3F772BF5.000076DF,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
        addr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,size=526,
        success: delivered: smtp.comcast.net [204.127.198.27]

Does your esmtproutes file end with a newline character?
