Hello

part of an offending mail

start offending mail
--=====000_Dragon381477005134_=====
Content-Type: image/jpeg;
      name="StÃr mig inte.jpg"

This is broken. 8-bit content is prohibited in mail headers. Period.

Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment;
      filename="StÃr mig inte.jpg"

/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQE
end offending mail

So how should the mailclient really do this? Was thinking on giving the client-developer some feedback.

See RFC 2231, which specifies how 8-bit header content is to be encoded.
