Apologies for sending this yesterday without a subject. Hi
When I was setting courier up, I set the debugging to 2 since I was having problems logging in. Not that 2 was verbose enough to help me debugging. I eventually had to turn mysql logging on in order to find the errors. I subsequently set debugging to 1 and then 0 but I still end up with the following in my logs: Nov 8 13:24:20 p4-7066 imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:62.87.77.35] Nov 8 13:24:22 p4-7066 imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.87.77.35], protocol=IMAP Nov 8 13:24:23 p4-7066 imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:62.87.77.35] Nov 8 13:24:25 p4-7066 imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.87.77.35], protocol=IMAP Nov 8 13:24:29 p4-7066 imapd: DISCONNECTED, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.87.77.35], headers=0, body=0 Nov 8 13:25:04 p4-7066 imapd: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:62.87.77.35], headers=0, body=0 My /usr/local/courier/etc/imapd file has this entry: ##NAME: DEBUG_LOGIN:0 # # Dump additional login diagnostics to syslog # # DEBUG_LOGIN=0 - turn off login debugging # DEBUG_LOGIN=1 - turn on login debugging # DEBUG_LOGIN=2 - turn on login debugging + log passwords too DEBUG_LOGIN=0 I'd really like these messages out of my mail log. How can I turn this off completely? Lyd ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: ApacheCon 2003, 16-19 November in Las Vegas.
