Check if you have /usr/lib/courier/bin/couriertls. If you've got that file then openssl support is compiled in. If the configure finds the openssl libs then it compiles courier with openssl support. Are you looking for a client HOWTO for connecting to courier? In that case you probably need to say which clients you need help with. If you mean how to set up courier for secure imap and pop3 check out the imapd-ssl and pop3d-ssl files in your courier 'etc' directory. They'll tell you how to offer SSL and TLS support.
