My normal mail is being delivered so my mailbox perms must
be Ok.

from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,addr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,size=7432,success: Message delivered.

I understand these ones above are essentially generated by
MAILER-DAEMON. Is this correct ?

from=<>,addr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: /usr/bin/maildrop: Unable to create a dot-lock.

Two questions here:

From what source do "from=<>" messages come from ?

Where on my file system would that lock file not be able
to be created when perms for my Maildir are OK ?
