Hi,

I'm trying to get courier to accept both mysql and regular
pam authentication. I was assuming that if authdaemond has
both authdaemond.mysql and authdaemond.plain linked, it
would accept both.

But if that's the case, how does it work?

I tried logging in (either POP or IMAP) using a local
account (not in mysql, but a local unix user), however the
authentication is failing.

When using authtest, what should I use to check
authentication?

I have a local unix user, "ricardo" and I wanted to see if
courier would default to regular unix (pam) authentication
if the user is not found in the mysql database.

Can someone give me some pointers?

Thanks
Ricardo
