[courier-users] Best way to upgrade Courier using rpms?

Hi, What is the proper way to upgrade Courier once I have built the latest 
rpms.  Courier was installed via rpms and is currently funtioning. 

Should I uninstall the existing rpms or use a rpm -Uvh
