Yup, that was it. I symlinked it to pureperlfilter.conf instead of pureperlfilter. Now I'm getting an error message in syslog saying that I don't have boolean.pm installed which is true. I'll see about adding a 5.8 install in a different location to test it out. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll let you know what happens. This looks extremely cool!
