Hi,

I've looked through the documentation, the mailing list archives, and
Google, and have not found an answer to my question, so I am posting it
here:

Is there away to eliminate double bounces?

I am specifically concerned with the following scenario: Spam sent to
inexistant local addresses is initially accepted by courier, and then
when it fails to deliver a bounce message is sent, which inevitabely
returns to the postmaster, as the originating email address was invalid.

I would like to think it possible to either discard all double bounce
messages, or to simple not accept mail until it is expected that it can
be delivered/processed.

Any suggestions?

thanks,
Charles
