Recently upgraded from 0.42.2 to 0.45.2, and one person reports "517 Syntax error." every time the try to Send in SqWebMail. His is the one account I know about that does this. When investigating, I notice that if I double click and Delete in From, it seems to have emptied, but if I double click *again* some text appears which happens to be the address line of our mailing address!
This happens both with IE and Mozilla.
Could this have come from LDAP somehow? We have a global addressbook using an LDAP hook into Active Directory. Authentication is done with NIS via PAM. I've looked through the BUILD directory, the etc directory, and so on, and can find nowhere that it could be getting this text.
I was bitten by my own problem, as the above obviously didn't make it to the list the first time... "2611" is part of our mailing addreess.
A slight change in direction - the double click, delete, address appears thing seems to be a Mozilla bug, so I'll research that later. (it does not happen with IE).
It looks like only this one user has this "517 Syntax error." When I tetheral the connection, it looks like the *browser* is sending it in the POST, right? (10.111.1.47 is the Courier server)...
