I just re-evaluated the Bynari connector with the latest courier. One strange thing is that CRAM-MD5 auth does not work (I have found this true for other email clients too). However, I did not get all the way to ACL testing. The sync time for mailboxes with >=1000 messages was too long (1min or more) for my users to tolerate. Version 3 of the connector is supposed to use native IMAP and eliminate the sync... but that is a few months away. I'm waiting for this new version to do my next evaluation.
