Hi again all, I seem to be having problems getting courier to send mail from machines on my local network (203.55.171.0/24). I have created a file called localnet in /etc/courier/smtpaccess which is as follows:
# # Allow relay for machines on the local networks # 203.55.171 allow,RELAYCLIENT 203.55.172 allow,RELAYCLIENT And it looks like makesmtpaccess is picking this file up correctly. I can find strings in smtpaccess.dat which look like it's seeing these entries. so I'm not sure what steps I've missed: this is all that's mentioned in the installation guide. The log entries for the failed deliveries look like this: Apr 15 15:15:48 giant courieresmtpd: [ID 702911 mail.error] error,relay=::ffff:203.55.171.104,from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,t o=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: 513 Relaying denied. What have I missed? _________________________________ Thorne Lawler Senior Systems Administrator t: +61 3 8329 2026 f: +61 3 9326 7588 e: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Microlistics A Dawson Group Company www.microlistics.com.au _________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
