I was reading the changelog again and came to think: isn't time now, even long overdue, to make the leap to v 1.0? Courier is not perfect (what software is?), but it has been mature for a very long time and it looks at the competition with a very proud nose up in the air. Moving up the minors and majors on the 0.x.y scale until 1.0 is reached without leaps would put courier-1.0 years in the future, which is unfair to it. The software is mature and stable, it deserves a version that reflects the fact.
