I was wondering how this function [int maildirwatch_start(struct maildirwatch *w,
struct maildirwatch_contents *mc)] in the 'maildirwatch.c' file is activated and how
often ? Is it done before the user logs on, during, after, periodically, or just
randomly? What is the stats behind it, and if anyone know where I can read
documentation about it?

What I'm trying to find out is if I can run a process as soon as a mail message is
delivered to the user's Maildir, by using a 'watcher' of some sort or something that
will do a process before the user can get hold of their email. I'm not looking into
changing the way the MTA work as I have no power over the way that is configured. Any
help or a pointer in the right direction would be great !! :)

Thanks in advance...
