Hello,
I am using the Courier/LDAP-setup, which performs an excelent task. I am also trying to setup the LDAP-alias-lookup. The standard configuration file LDAPALIASRC uses "mail" as the search-field, but it searches the LDAP-directory for the mail-username without the domain-part (i.e. "user" in stead of "[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>").
The search will fail when the mail-field inside the LDAP-directory contains user+domain !
If the domain is listed as a "local" domain, then courier searches its databases for the name which occurs before the "@" symbol, regardless of whether they're the alias file database, SQL, or LDAP. Courier is behaving as expected. For "local" domains, you should create aliases which have only the local name part of their email address in the "mail" attribute.
